After three hours of oral arguments between the two sides in Park City's ski resort fight, Third District Court Judge Ryan Harris said he wasn't able to come up with a ruling today.

The judge said he will render a decision next week, Wednesday, September 3.

The judge was asked to set a bond amount that the Park City Mountain Resort would have to pay so it could putt off an eviction, and continue operations this winter on a 3,000-acre ski hill owned by Talisker Land Holdings.

Judge Harris apologized, since he had indicated earlier he would have a decision. But he said he had to look at new information, and also noted that both sides have extended mediation, for a second time, to the end of Friday, the 29.

The arguments Wednesday showed a wide chasm in the positions of the two sides. PCMR proposed that the bond run through April 2015 and be set at a maximum $6.5 million.

But attorneys for Talisker say the bond should cover a longer time period and included damages, for a total of nearly $124 million.
