Deadline for Park City School Board District 1 Applications is June 2nd.
Park City School District is taking applications for a District 1 board member to replace outgoing school board member Phil Kaplan. His resignation from the Board of Education is effective June 9th. The newly named candidate will serve until December 2018.
Applications are accepted May 17th to June 2nd. Candidates will be interviewed June 5th at 10 am at the District Offices in an open meeting. A vote will be taken at the regularly scheduled June 6th School Board meeting at 9 am.
An information session outlining duties and responsibilities of the board position is offered at 4pm on Tuesday May 30th.
This position covers District 1 in the Park City School District:
Prospector, Upper and Lower Deer Valley, Old Town and Thaynes.
