Former Kamas Police Chief Files Suit for Wrongful Dismissal

The former police chief of Kamas has filed suit in the Third District Court against Summit County, former County Sheriff David Edmunds, and the city of Kamas. Adam Jones says he lost his job as chief because of a malicious prosecution against him -- which was ultimately dropped by the county -- which alleged he mishandled a domestic violence complaint against his brother and tried to cover it up.
