The Utah Department of Health awarded $236,037 for their Opiate Overdose Outreach Pilot Program that spanned from January to June 2017.

More than 100,000 Americans have died from drug overdoses in the past two years, with more than 2 million Americans addicted to prescription opioids. KPCW’s Melissa Allison tells us how the local hospital hopes to help turn those numbers around.
