Grammy-winning vocalist Rhiannon Giddens hits the Eccles Main Stage this New Year’s Eve at 8pm. Giddens co-founded The Carolina Chocolate Drops, an old-time string band from Durham, NC, in which she plays banjo and fiddle. She has also played with Yo-Yo Ma in the Silk Road String Ensemble and received a MacArthur Foundation Genius Award for 2017. Carolyn Murray has this:
