In April a Federal District Court Judge ruled against the Trump Administration after they announced they would end the DACA program. DACA stands for Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals. It allows children of undocumented immigrants a chance to work, join the military, go to college, and obtain driver licenses.
Last year members of the Park City Education Foundation and Park City Institute helped students apply for DACA renewals. They’re launching another campaign to help middle school kids in Park City prepare and pay for DACA applications. Carolyn Murray has more on this:
