The Summit County Sheriff’s department in recent days reported two unusual cases of domestic violence.
On Monday night the 4th, a complainant in Jeremy Ranch reported that his ex-wife rammed his vehicle into his garage door, knocking the door off the frame, and also tried to slash his vehicle tires.
She left the area, but was later located at a traffic stop, where drugs and drug paraphernalia were also found. The suspect, a 28-year-old Park City woman, was arrested for Domestic Violence Criminal Mischief.
And on Tuesday night the 5th, a 31-year-old Coalville man was arrested for controlling the TV too aggressively. His mother reported that he forcefully grabbed her arm to stop her from changing the channel. When she went to the kitchen, he followed, knocked her cat out of her hands, pushed her into her bathroom and told her to watch her program on her computer.
The suspect admitted his actions to the responding officer, saying he wanted to watch a basketball game. He was transported to jail.
