Park City local Wyatt Pike made it into the top 16 of American Idol Sunday night. He’ll find out if he’s in the top 12 Monday.

Last week was the first time viewers could vote in for their favorite singer during the “All-Star Duets” performance.

Pike sang with singer-songwriter Ben Rector. Together, they performed Rector’s song “Brand New.”

After he found out that he made it to the next round Sunday night, Pike had to once again compete for a spot. He sang “Use Someone” by Kings of Leon. Voting for the top 12 was open last night from 8 p.m. until 4 a.m.

Ten of the open spots will be determined by votes. The contestants without a secured spot will perform for the judges Monday night for the two available spots.

To help determine who’ll make it through to the next round, you can cast 10 votes through the American Idol app, 10 through the website and 10 through a number that will be released during the live show.

American Idol airs at 7 p.m. Sundays and Mondays.
