Last Tuesday, the House Natural Resources Committee held a legislative hearing on a proposed bill that would not only codify President Trump’s dismantling of Bears Ears National Monument but also delegate management of the monument to a group hand-picked by the president.  On today’s program Chris and Nell discuss how the bill will impact Bears Ears and set the stage for similar action on the Grand Staircase Escalante monument.
