Environmental racism. It's a term we rarely hear and a condition most of us are either unaware of, or quietly choose to ignore. But environmental racism has been around for as long as there has been white-based power structures to foster it and, low-income communities to take advantage of.   Chris and Nell speak with Dr. Dorceta Taylor on This Green Earth. She is the author of the book: "Toxic Communities: Environmental Racism, Industrial Pollution, and Residential Mobility".  Dr. Taylor has spent decades researching the history of the environmental movement and focuses on issues of diversity, equity, and inclusion within environmental groups.
