Talking About The "Diesel Death Zone" with Writer Director Emily Billow

In this episode of  This Green Earth the guest is Emily Billow, a Park City native, who wrote, produced and directed a documentary about air pollution and environmental injustice.  In this case, the low income communities located amongst the Port of Long Beach, oil refineries and busy freeways.  Local residents have taken matters into their own hands, facing an apathetic government and powerful corporations in their fight for environmental justice.   Emily Billow talks about her Senior Thesis documentary at the USC Film School:  "Diesel Death Zone".
