John and Lynn speak with International best-selling author Doug Abrams, who has co-written a book with renowned naturalist Jane Goodall called The Book of Hope: A Survival Guide for Trying Times. The concept of HOPE has been elusive or even absent for many in these trying times in which our fundamental beliefs about the world are challenged to their very core. The Pandemic, climate change, the wealth gap, lack of civility, and divisiveness among our own countrymen are just some of the underlying reasons many feel a lack of hope.

Together Goodall and Abrams explore one of the most sought after and least understood elements of human nature: HOPE. In the book Jane Goodall focuses on her “Four Reasons for Hope”: The Amazing Human Intellect, The Resilience of Nature, The Power of Young People, and The Indomitable Human Spirit.
