Nell and Chris first talk about population growth with David Paxson, President of World Population Balance. Although the planet is on it's way to 8 billion people, recent efforts in the areas of education, health care and technology are beginning to slow the rate of growth.  Then in the second part of the show they discuss the fact that, despite all the news coverage, more of the continental U.S. experienced record warmth than record cold during the month of February.
