This Green Earth - September 20, 2016

Recently, a local nonprofit dedicated to protecting animals, has worked with the Utah Department of Transportation to extend the existing animal barriers that line a portion of I-80 near Parleys Summit.  Save People, Save Wild Life,  is the name of this nonprofit.  Jim Clarke and Sharon Cantwell from this group join us in the first part of the program to discuss the program.  Then, in the second half of the show we’ll catch up with Dr. Jeff McCathy , Director and Professor of Environmental Humanities  at the University of Utah.  On Wednesday night, the Environmental Humanities program and the Honors College is hosting a reading titled: Fracking the West, Writing and Activism Now.
