Local News Hour - March 1, 2019

On today’s program, State Rep. Tim Quinn (R) gives a brief explanation of his tax reform bill, in anticipation of its committee hearing at noon. Moab Mayor Emily Niehaus and Council Member Karen Guzman-Newton talk about the city's efforts to protect their town's ban on plastic bags. The mayor  also talks about Community Rebuilds, a Moab-based nonprofit building affordable energy-efficient housing through a workforce training program. Park City Council member Steve Joyce with a recap of last night's Park City Council meeting, including the hiring of a new Special Counsel for the city and Park City Institute Director Teri Orr has details on this year's Saints and Sinners Ball, March 16th.
