Court Hearing Requested in Talisker Foreclosure

Wells Fargo Bank, which has sued nearly a dozen companies affiliated with Talisker, is asking Third District Court to schedule a hearing as soon as possible, to appoint a receiver who will take over the Tuhaye Golf Development and other collateral pledged by the defendants.  The bank has nominated a California real-estate consultant to carry out a foreclosure of the properties, since the defendants have allegedly defaulted on a debt of nearly $164 million. However, a court date hasn't appeared on the calendar covering the next couple of weeks.  Meanwhile, the Third District Judge originally assigned to the case has recused herself.  KPCW's Rick Brough has more.
