The garage of a Prospector home was destroyed after a fire broke out Friday night. Fire crews responded to a home fire on Annie Oakley Drive just before 8 p.m. When crews arrived, they found the garage ablaze with flames reaching the second story.
The home’s owner and two family pets got out safely.
Most of the damage was contained to the garage, but a vehicle parked in the driveway was destroyed and smoke and water damage affected other areas of the home making it uninhabitable. The cause of the blaze is under investigation.
