In Charleston Town’s primary election for mayor, Brenda Kozlowski got 56% of the votes with 76, David Hendricksen got 31% with 41, and Ted Greenfield got 13% with 17 votes. Layne Kabonic did not file in time to be eligible for the ballot.
Kozlowski and Hendricksen will be on the general-election ballot in November.
Voter turnout in Charleston was just under 50%.
