Scott Kohler Leads Daniel Town Primary Election For Mayor, 3 Close In Council Race

In Tuesday’s primary election for Daniel Town’s mayor and two town council seats, Scott Kohler came out ahead in the mayor’s race, and Robyn Pearson, Jon Blotter and Stefanie Grady led five total candidates.

In the race for mayor, Kohler received 53% of the vote with 122 votes, Michael Duggin received 41% with 94, and Eric Bunker received 7% with 16.

In the council race, Pearson received 30% of the vote with 131 votes, Blotter received 26% with 116, Grady received 24% with 105, John Glodowski received 11% with 47, and Jeremy Cherchenko received 9% with 40.

Unofficial vote totals were posted to the Daniel Town website office around 10:30 Tuesday night.
