Heber City Council to Host Budget Workshop, Learn About LGBTQ Center

Heber City

The Heber City Council meets on Tuesday in a work meeting beginning at 4:30 p.m. The regular meeting starts at 7.

The Heber City Council has its second Budget Workshop on the top of their work meeting agenda. The second topic is a presentation by Entry Point Networks. Heber City Manager Matt Brower will lead a discussion on the Community Reinvestment Agency project and present the overall plan and the costs. Heber City Councilmember Heidi Franco will review a Proposed Clean Air Ordinance if time allows. The item is on the regular meeting agenda at 7 p.m.

Other items on the regular agenda include an update on the Environmental Impact Statement by UDOT. The EIS project represents the early phases of a future Heber City bypass road that would route traffic around the commercial Main Street area.

The council will receive an update regarding the Arts Center proposal. Stephanie Larsen plans to present the plans for establishing a Heber-based Encircle House, an LGBTQ youth and family resource.

The Brookside Phase 3 Subdivision setback reductions are on the schedule, and the council may adopt the Red Ledges plat modification approval.
