John Boyack
Deveopment ManagerFrom Seattle to Utah in 2002, John has earned degrees in Political Science (BA), English (BA), and Public Administration (MPA). Here, his career has oscillated between public relations, communications, marketing, events, development, and programming for the University of Utah and area non-profits.
He’s spent time in the private sector, too – from commercial real estate to slinging Turkey Chili at Snowshoe Tommy’s to marketing for an international OR company to slinging speak-easy cocktails at BAR-X.
On National Puppy Day 2019, John and Illustrator Kelsey Evans self-published a dual-immersion children’s book about an animated red and white Irish Setter titled Bailey Crosses the Atlantic.
Like Hunter S. Thompson, he takes local politics very seriously and understands that a Free Press serves as the backbone of Democracy.
He resides in Prospector with wife Lauren, daughter Hattie, puppertons Eleanor, and cat Chauncey.
