Local News Hour - June 14, 2019

Summit County Emergency Manager, Chris Crowley talks about the run-off and flooding and he reminds listeners that wildland fire danger is always a concern, even when coming off a wet, cold spring. Park City Magazine Editor, Jane Gendron talks about the summer issue hitting the streets, hotel rooms and coffee shops. The highlight story on the cover is the Ultimate Biking guide. Nancy Haga is founder of the Solstice Flute Festival. There are workshops and flute classes along with performances. The festival starts Friday June 20th and goes through Saturday evening of the solstice. Executive Director of the Park City Museum, Sandra Morrison talks about the Smithsonian traveling exhibit at the museum. It presents the history of the backyard. And the Historic Home Tour is this weekend with 12 properties in old town. It’s a walking tour starting at the Town Lift Bridge on Saturday at 10 AM.
