What is open, closed for Memorial Day

Monday, Americans will remember and mourn fallen members of the military who died serving their country.

In honor of Memorial Day, some public services will be closed or delayed May 26.

All post offices and liquor stores will be closed across the state.

Monday all library branches in Summit County will be closed, including the Park City Library. Same for the Wasatch County Library.

There will be no delay for Summit County Republic Services trash pick up Monday.

However, Wasatch County Solid Waste's regular garbage collection will be delayed to Tuesday. The transfer station will also be closed Monday.

All county and city government buildings in the Wasatch Back will be closed, including Park City and Heber City administrative offices.

Summit County says the sheriff’s office and local fire and EMS crews will have limited staff working.

The PC MARC will be open from 5:30 a.m. to 9 p.m.

Basin Rec’s hours are 5:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. but all fitness classes are canceled Monday.

The Wasatch County Recreation Center will be open from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Memorial Day.
