Another crash on U.S. 40 this past Saturday has placed a couple in critical condition.
The accident occurred on U.S. 40 between Strawberry Reservoir and Heber Saturday morning. According to charging documents Tyson Uresti was driving a stolen vehicle when he crossed over into the opposite lane and hit a young couple driving in the opposite direction. The man and woman were taken to the hospital in critical condition, according to a GoFundMe page the woman was pregnant.
Uresti fled the scene on foot before he was captured by law enforcement. He faces 5 charges including Possession of a Stolen Motor Vehicle a Second-Degree Felony, and Failure to Stop At Injury Accident a Class A Misdemeanor.
