Wasatch County School District confirmed with the Wasatch County Health Department that a Wasatch High School student has tested positive for COVID-19.
As a result, the Wasatch County Health Department has issued a quarantine for all 2,300 Wasatch High students, as well as staff.
The student went home on Thursday after attending two periods. The student had not been traveling and had no known contact with any confirmed cases. Members of the student's household have remained in isolation since Thursday.
All teachers and staff have been dismissed from Wasatch High School. Teachers will continue to make plans for school to continue from home this week as discussed by the district late last week. Lunch will not be available at Wasatch High School, lunches at every other school however will still be available for pickup between 11:00 am and 12:30 pm. With deliveries made to Todd Hollow and Wallsburg Town Hall.
