Car Slides Down Ravine in Park City Early Saturday, No Serious Injuries Reported

Park City Fire District

An early-morning accident in Park City on Saturday caused by snowy roads and a drunk driver thankfully did not result in serious injury.

Park City Fire and Police crews responded to a call at the intersection of Deer Valley and Aerie Dr early Saturday morning for a vehicle that had crashed off the roadway and landed upside down in the creek below.

According to the Park City Fire District, passersby who witnessed the accident were able to pull the single occupant out of the vehicle to safety.

The driver was reported to only have minor injuries, but was arrested by Park City Police after it was determined they were under the influence of alcohol.

Park City fire says no hazardous materials leaked into the creek, but reminded drivers to please be careful and slow down on snowy roads.
