The Bonanza Loop trail can be accessed from the Bonanza Flat trailhead.

The trail at Bonanza Flats above Park City closed Oct. 1 for its season of rest.

The 5-mile loop is part of the Bonanza Flat Conservation Area.

The Mountain Trails Foundation says this rest period gives the wildlife and plants time to reset before the summer.

The trail will reopen July 1.
