I am a Utahn, "born and raised" with a lot of Utah family history and connectivity with our Park City community.  My family founded and ran the first and longest running beer brewery in Utah, Becker’s Beer.  My family also has some interesting Utah ski history. My family funded the first gelande ski jumping hill at Snowbasin, Becker Hill, and was integral to bringing Alf and Sverre Engen (of Alta fame) to Utah. My great grandmother was one of the first nurses at the Miners Hospital in Park City. I learned to ski at Deer Valley when I was 2 and my family has divided their time in Park City and Salt Lake City since I was 3. My husband and I made it our permanent residence 17 years ago. I love Park City! It has been a town that has always had a special place in my heart.

I graduated from the University of Utah, B.S. behavioral science and health. I was lucky enough to meet my amazing husband, Mike at the “U.” We have two awesome kids, Becker and Sage, and three English black labs, Leo, Olive and Max.

I was a pharmaceutical rep. for Abbott Laboratories, which allowed me to bridge my loves for healthcare and sales. After my kids were born, I decided to be a stay-at-home mom and haven’t looked back since. I love being involved in the community and a huge passion of mine is pedestrian safety, with a focus on highway 224/Bear Hollow Dr. I’m a true believer that if there is a need for something and you don’t stand up for it or try and fix it then you cannot complain.

I find so much value in public radio and feel KPCW is the central nervous system of this town. I love KPCW and am honored to be a part of this board.
