Park City Mountain Announces Summer Operation Dates

KPCW

Park City Mountain announced their summer operating dates Wednesday. The mountain is scheduled to open back up at the end of May.

Just as one season ends, another is set to begin with PCMR scheduled to open for summer operations on May 28th.

Summer favorites like the Adventure Park will return to offer activities like the mountain coaster, alpine slide, and mini golf.

According to the resort, base-area and on-mountain activities like lift rides and hiking will be open seven days a week starting at 10am and will run through September 6th. Activities will then transition to Thursday through Sunday from September 9th to October 3rd.

Resort COO Mike Goar said in a press release that the resort is looking forward to welcoming guests back in May and “can’t wait to enjoy another beautiful Park City Summer.”

The Canyons golf course is also scheduled to open on May 21st.

Trail access for hikers and bikers will depend on snowmelt and trail conditions in the coming weeks.

The resort added that health restrictions over the summer will be in accordance with local public health guidelines. Summit County does not have a mask mandate in place, but businesses can still require face coverings and social distancing.
