This Green Earth - April 3, 2018

Today, on This Green Earth, Chris Cherniak and guest co-host Carolyn Wawra of Recycle Utah first speak with Brian McInerney from the National Weather Service on the state of Utah's reservoirs and watersheds.  Much of Utah is currently experiencing moderate to extreme drought, so Brian will explain how that will impact our rivers and lakes this summer.    Then in the second half of the show, a group of University of Utah students are converting plastic bags into sleeping mats by crocheting the bags together.  Student Kaitlin McClean stops by the studio to explain and demonstrate the process.

Co-host of KPCW's This Green Earth.
