Experts warn about summer bat encounters

Kim Hersey from the Division of Wildlife Resources talks about bats more prevalent bat encounters in the summer and how to keep the bats, and yourself, safe.

There are 18 confirmed species of bats in Utah and now is the most common time for people to encounter them. Kim Hersey, a non-game mammal biologist with the Utah Division of Wildlife Resources, talks about bats in Utah and what to do should you encounter with one.
