Ski runs at the top of Brian Head Resort in January 2025.

Originally closing May 4, southern Utah's Brian Head Resort has added an additional weekend to the season and will now close May 11.

The ski area will be open through Sunday and an additional three days next weekend.

Starting May 9, the Giant Steps Express and Blackfoot lifts will spin from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Brian Head says the new closing date sets a resort record with 181 skiable days this season, the longest in its 60-year history.

Brighton, Snowbird and Solitude are the final ski areas standing this season. Click here for a full list of ski resort closing dates.
