Crews will be working in the area near Jeremy Ranch, weather permitting.

Fire crews are taking advantage of cool, wet weather this week to conduct prescribed burns on the 910 Cattle Ranch near Jeremy Ranch.

Prescribed burns are used to reduce wildfire frequency and severity, maintain ecosystem health and protect nearby communities.

Residents in western Summit County may see or smell smoke and are asked not to report it.
