Recycle Utah invites Summit County residents to take advantage of a free Household Hazardous Waste Collection Day on Saturday, April 27, 2023 from 9 AM to 1 PM at the Canyons Cabriolet parking lot.

The goal is to keep toxic chemicals and heavy metals out of our environment. When toxic materials like mercury, lead, and pesticides end up in the landfill they seep into the ground and into your drinking water.

Examples of what you can bring to the hazardous waste drop off include paints, solvents, motor oil and antifreeze, household cleaners, fertilizers, pesticides, pool/spa chemicals, electronic waste like old cell phones, TVs, and laptops, pharmaceuticals - and matresses (for $20/item fee).

Open to Summit County Residents only. NO businesses and yes, we can tell if you’re a business!
