Intro to Fungi in the Garden (March 7)
Join Summit Community Gardens/EATS and Katie Lawson from Fungal Focus SLC to learn about how fungi interact with your plants and soil. We'll talk about the ecological roles that fungi play and how you can work with them to grow better crops. Katie Lawson has been farming since 2011 and studying mycology since 2016. Her company, Fungal Focus, seeks to support and expand Utah's community of mushroom growers and fungal advocates. Katie's current research focuses on soil contamination and bioremediation.
