Park City Mountain’s new Canyons Village Garage will be open for the 2026-2027 winter season, just maybe not by opening day.

The resort hopes to start spinning lifts Nov. 20. That includes the new Canyons Village Skyway to take visitors from the parking lot to the resort village. It replaced the aging Cabriolet lift.

The new Canyons Village parking garage is expected to open in early December, with free and paid parking options at the base area. Before the garage opens, additional surface lots at the village will be available for skiers and riders.

The garage requires a reservation and is $29 a day.

Carpool parking is free for vehicles with four or more people.

The resort will also offer free, first-come, first-served parking at the surface lot adjacent to the parking garage.

Mountain Village parking is the same as last year, with paid parking reservations at all surface lots and free parking for carpools.

Skiers and riders can also purchase season parking passes for the new Canyons Village garage and the Mountain Village garage at the top of the First Time lot.

Parking passes are $825 and also require reservations. They go on sale Sept. 1.

Nearby Deer Valley Resort has not yet announced an opening day.
