Swaner EcoCenter Presents Talk "Ecological Impacts of Climate Change: Lessons from the Past & Projections for the Future" - May 23
Swaner EcoCenters talk on the Ecological Impacts of Climate Change will take place May 23 from 6:30-8:30 at the Swaner EcoCenter both indoors and on the outside back deck. (Dress for the weather.) Rapid climate change is already impacting species and ecosystems. Paleoecologists Jack Williams and Jesse Morris answer the question of what we can expect in the future by using lessons from the past, with a focus on examples from Utah such as records from plant pollen and charcoal left by fires. Peter Adler will then describe a predictive approach using computer models.
