The Village Bicycle Project is local to Park City, and is hosting their annual bike donation/drop at the Park City Canyons Base Parking Lot by the Cabriolet on Saturday, May 7th from 9am-1pm. Village Bicycle Project provides subsidized bicycles and hands-on maintenance training in Sierra Leone and Ghana. Women and girls are specifically included to address gender inequalities that limit access to bicycles. Mtn Bikes are preferred, but they will accept any bike in usable condition as well as bicycle parts. A $20 accompanying donation to offset shipping is helpful. Bike and donations are tax deductible and you will receive a receipt.
