The Summit County Council approved the grant funding recommended for cultural purposes from the county's Recreation, Art, and Parks tax this Wednesday. However, after a review, the council voted to turn down funding for the U.S. Adaptive Paralympic Bobsled and Skeleton Association. One council member said the program, though very worthwhile, does not fit the parameters for funding set under the RAP tax. Rick Brough has more.
