After a brief discussion Wednesday, a majority of the Summit County Council agreed to endorse some federal tax credits that would support a plan by Mountainlands Community Housing Trust to develop affordable housing in Silver Creek Village. However, council member Doug Clyde expressed his fervent disapproval, since Mountainlands is still seeking an approval from the Snyderville Planning Commission. Clyde said giving a thumbs-up at this time is "beyond poor management." Rick Brough has more.
