Both ski areas are family-owned businesses.  They said the Epic Pass will provide their guests with access to all Vail Resorts-owned and operated destinations.

The pass offerings include enhancing the existing Sun Valley and Snowbasin season passes giving these pass holders a 50 % discount on Vails destinations.

Epic Pass holders will receive seven days of skiing and riding with no blackout dates at Sun Valley and Snowbasin and then 50 percent off day passes beginning on the 8th day and going forward through the season.
