Park City Miners Girl's Golf Finishes 2nd At State

Park City High School’s Girl’s Golf team placed second at the state tournament this week.

After 36 holes at the East Bay golf course in Provo on Wednesday and Thursday the lady miners were rewarded for their efforts with a second-place trophy.

The miners finished the tournament shooting 675 as a team. They were 13 strokes behind 1st place Ridgline High School.

Park City was led by a third place finish from Grace Donahue. Donahue shot a 75 on both days to score 150 and earn the bronze. Lady Miner McKenzie Schow also played into the top 10, shooting 163 and tying for 9th place.

Josie Marshall, Livi and Gabby Rockwood and Caroline Donahue all competed at the tournament to contribute to the miner’s second place finish.
