The City selected Robb Woulfe to oversee aspects of the Arts and Culture District’s development, alongside the Kimball Art Center and Sundance Institute, the City’s partners on the project. Woulfe’s responsibilities include program design, governance, operations and more.
Park City Mayor Andy Beerman says Woulfe’s expertise in arts and culture will benefit Park City’s residents and visitors.
Woulfe has worked in the arts, in the nonprofit and commercial sectors, for more than 25 years. Woulfe founded Breckenridge Creative Arts, a nonprofit organization that supports arts and culture efforts throughout Breckenridge, Colorado. Woulfe says his resort town experience gives him a firsthand understanding of how the arts can be used to drive tourism and engage the community.
Park City Municipal staff has recently presented updates in the Arts and Culture District process to the City Council, Planning Commission and Historic Park City Alliance. Since purchasing the Bonanza Park property in 2018 for $19.5 million to create the district, the City, Sundance Institute and Kimball Art Center have focused their attention on its design and development, as the City works to submit the master planned development application this fall. The next paths in the process center around programming and activation, and operations and governance.
