Miner Nation Report - October 7, 2019

Here's this week's Miner Nation Report:
This week was the boys golf state tournament at Wasatch Mountain Golf Course. The boys came up short and took third overall losing by 5 strokes to skyline who ended up taking home the state crown. A couple of miners finished inside the Top 10, Wyatt Petersen finished tied for 8th and Jackson Holman had quite the showing and finished tied for 4th.

 
Girls soccer senior night was on Tuesday. they took on Spanish Fork and got the Job done by a score of 3-0. 2 days later they had a road game against Springville in which the lost 3-0. They are now 9-6-1 on the season.
 
Girls volleyball had 2 home games last week, the first coming against Maple Mountain The girls got it done and won by a score of 3-2, later in the week the girls took a loss to Salem Hills by a score of 3-0.
 
To cap off another week in Miner sports, our football team blew Ben Lomond out of the water with a final score of 70-6. The Miners are now 8-0 on the season and have their sights set on a state title with a strong senior class leading the way.
