This week our miner football team competed for a chance to capture the high schools first ever state title. 13-0 heading into the championship game, the best record this school has ever seen, but the miners had a tough task of playing the second seed Sky View Bobcats. The miners ended up taking a tough defeat by a score of 35-0. It was truly a heck of a run, one we will never forget. Thanks to all the players and coaches who made this possible.
Moving on, basketball season is just around the corner as our Miners take on the Snow Canyon Warriors in the first game of the season and first game under newly named head coach Thomas Purcell. Good luck boys!
At the high school, there is the Hoedown Dance on December 14th students be sure to find a group of friends to dance the night away with.
