Woman Arrested, More Than Once, For Actions Against Ex-Boyfriend In Kamas

Summit County Sheriff's Office

A Salt Lake woman has been charged by the Summit County Attorney’s Office after allegedly ramming her ex-boyfriend with her car.

The woman has since been arrested for another incident at her ex’s home in South Summit.

A charge of Aggravated Assault, a Third Degree Felony, was filed against 49-year-old Judith Stacy Cluff.

A Sheriff’s report said that Cluff was in a relationship with the victim, a 57-year-old Kamas resident, until he evicted her about six months ago.

The victim said that on Dec. 4th, she showed up uninvited at his home near State Road 32 in order to pick up some items.    He said he helped her move the items, hoping to get her out of his life.    The suspect became upset, yelled profanities, and threw a soda can at a friend of the victim.

Cluff then allegedly got into her vehicle and sped toward the man in his driveway with enough force that he flew up on the hood of the car, then fell off onto the garage floor when she hit the brakes.

Cluff was released on an unsecured bond, but was back in the Sheriff’s report on Monday, the 14th.    She allegedly forced her way into her ex-boyfriend’s home, causing about $3600 of damage, and also made death threats to the ex and his roommate.

When Cluff was taken into custody, she admitted stealing items from the house.   She was booked into the County Jail and her vehicle was impounded for having no insurance.
