Paving on SR 248 in Park City Starts August 9th

UDOT

Beginning Monday, night-time paving operations on SR 248 between Highway 189 and Park Avenue will be underway. The work will take place through the beginning of September.

The paving is part of a bigger UDOT project to refresh the driving surface and paint new lanes onto SR 248 in Park City. Construction began in early July.

Eastbound SR 248 will be reduced to one lane from 6pm-2pm the following day and westbound traffic will also be reduced to one lane from 6pm-5am.

UDOT says the work schedule is subject to changes due to weather conditions and equipment or material delays.

The project will also upgrade various pedestrian ramps along the road and paint a new lane configuration, adding a dedicated westbound bus lane.
