Originally scheduled for next Wednesday, November 17th, Summit County has pushed that out to December 1st. The meeting location has not been announced yet.
The meeting was first scheduled for the Richins building in Kimball Junction, but was then moved to Ecker Hill Middle School to accommodate larger crowds.
The Dakota Pacific project has garnered a large amount of public interest in recent months, including a change.org petition in opposition to the project that has gathered nearly 3,000 signatures.
If approved, the project would build a mixed-use neighborhood west of SR 224 in Kimball Junction containing commercial and office space, a hotel, and 1,100 residential units.
