The Community Belonging Fund will help cover expenses for legal assistance, community education about immigration rights, housing stability and access to mental and physical health services.
The fund was launched to quickly channel essential dollars to families and individuals facing urgent needs.
Foundation Vice President of Equity and Impact Diego Zegarra said, “The Community Belonging Fund is one way we can support local, hardworking families and collectively uphold the values that make Park City a place for everyone.”
Joel Zarrow, President and CEO of Park City Community Foundation, said, “Many of the families affected by the current climate are contributors to the local economy, enrich the cultural fabric, and strengthen the ties that bind our community together. This fund will help foster kindness in our community and an environment where people from diverse backgrounds feel valued and connected to their neighbors.”
The foundation has also convened community partners to advocate for and provide resources to vulnerable families.
It is calling on residents and stakeholders to donate to the fund and help ensure that all members of the community can feel safe, supported and valued.
