Friday is Bike to School Day for Park City School District students, families and staff.

Park City Municipal, Summit County and Basin Recreation are using the day to remind the community about bicycle safety and awareness.

Students at McPolin Elementary can meet at 7:20 a.m. in Park City Heights, the PC MARC, Aspen Villas, Prospector Park and on Comstock Drive to ride to school together. Students can enjoy free breakfast, giveaways and a celebration of bicycle safety.

Parley’s Park, Jeremy Ranch, Trailside Elementary and Ecker Hill Middle School will offer snacks, drinks, bike safety activities and giveaways starting at 7:30 a.m. Friday.

Park City High and Treasure Mountain Junior High students are also encouraged to bike to campus Friday and learn more about sustainability initiatives at the schools.

Families can get free bike safety checks at the Park City Library Tuesday, May 13, from 5 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.
